It starts out as a gravel path. About 1 mile in the trail curves to the left, but straight ahead there is a single track path. Go across the creek and follow the path. You will end up at the Cottages at Algonkian park. Follow the road about 1/4 mile and you will see a picnic pavilion on the right. Go down the service road entrance on the right (yellow gate) and follow the trail down by the river. When you hit the boat landing, go across it and it keeps going along the river. It goes another 3/4 mile before it ends.
